Stéphane (Gael García Bernal ) is a dreamer,
so much so that his life and dreams tend to get mixed up. Can a meeting with
neighbour Stéphanie (Charlotte Gainsbourg) result in
finding someone with whom to share both his life and dreams?
As ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’ is in my personal top five films of all time and that the 'Be Kind Rewind' concept of the 'Sweded' video was inspired I had
high hopes for this. However, although Gondry’s artistic and quirky visuals are
present I felt the story and script lacked something - probably the Kaufman touch.
Classic scene – Finding the right musical cords to make stuffing float like clouds and the one second time machine…
